DECEMBER, 2007. EAST SUBURBAN ARTISTS LEAGUE 2007 ANNUAL SHOW AT PENN STATE NEW
KENSINGTON CAMPUS GALLERY. Bob had one painting and one photo on exhibit in this
show. Show ran the whole month of December, 2007.
Cover of InMurrysville Magazine
Bob's painting Westmoreland Harvest (24 x 36, oil/canvas, 2006) was selected for the cover of the 2007 Winter issue of InMurrysville Community Magazine. Inside is an article on the artist by Barb Glozik. While I was aware of the article being written, I had no idea my artwork would be on the cover. Many thanks to the editors and publishers of InMurrysville Magazine and to reporter Barb Glozik for this wonderful and unexpected surprise.
The original oil painting, Westmoreland Harvest, is still available for sale. Click on the painting at right or the magazine cover at left to enlarge.

demonstration of his painting before the Delmont Women's Club and their spouses at
their meeting in Delmont, Pennsylvania. This is the one time during the year the
men get to join the women in a joint activity. Had a good time and will shortly exhibit
the painting I started here and later completed.
ALL IN THE FAMILY: February, 2007. My special congratulations to my daughter, Bethany Blair Bickers, who not only graduated from Southwest Tennessee Community College with a degree in graphic arts, but took a job with the Collierville Herald Newspaper in Collierville, Tennessee (near Memphis) as a graphic artist and layout assistant and gained experience with an advertising agency for over a year. Beth is returning to the University of Memphis to complete her studies there. Keep up the good work Beth!
Here's a painting I made of Beth when she was much younger. Beth on Liberty, 28 x 22, oil on canvas, 1999. Click on image at left to enlarge.
