MORE JUDGING: I was asked by the Lions Club International of Murrysville to be a judge in their local children's poster contest that has the theme "Give Peace a Chance". Judging was in October, 2004 and I was glad to have the opportunity to participate. It is my understanding that the winning poster we chose also won at the state level.
EYE SURGERY: Bob had a cataract (and his right lens) removed from his right eye and a new lens inserted on Wednesday, November 2, 2005. The operation went well. Bob had the same operation performed on his the left eye on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 and this was successful too. This has already helped him in his reading and he continues to paint and create new artwork as he recovers. Many thanks to Bob's doctors and all who have wished Bob well and especially to Bob's wife, Diane, who has often kept Bob's vision clear, even when his eyesight wasn't.
