Thanks for visiting this website. I’ve been away for a while due to a variety of computer and technical problems, but I’m back now and I am very busy working on new artwork to post on this website. I have also made a number of changes along the way, if you haven’t noticed, and additional improvements will make their way here. One will be easier ways to order and purchase paintings, giclees and photographic prints. For the time being, please feel free to contact me if you like anything you see here and wish to purchase it.

If you are new to my website, then please stay a while and check out the many changes and upgrades:

You can click on THE ARTIST to learn more about me, my background, honors and achievements. You will also find there copies of newspaper and magazine articles about me or that included my artwork.

The NEWS & EXHIBITS link will take you to the newsroom for an up-to-date listing of events and upcoming shows and exhibitions.

My GALLERY will let you view samples of my artwork including paintings and photographs. Keep checking there for new additions to my collection.

A link called STUDIO will have material about the creative process and will have personal notes and images from my studio, here in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.

Clicking on the GUESTBOOK will take you to a place where you can leave me messages, make comments or observations, or just read what others have written before.

My ARCHIVES section is a place for old news items and paintings that are no longer available for sale.

I have added a LINKS section that will take you directly to some of my favorite websites, including those about art and photography and others on a variety of subjects.

Finally, you can always go to the CONTACTS page to talk to me by mail, e-mail, fax or telephone. I am pretty easy to find and reach!

You will notice a button at the bottom of all my webpages linking you to the law firm of Bickers & Bickers. When I am not painting or taking photographs, I am an attorney. I have an office in Murrysville, Pennsylvania where my wife (Diane Landis Bickers) and I have a general law practice. We each have been practicing law for over 25 years. Bob's painting Westmoreland Harvest (24 x 36, oil/canvas, 2006) was selected for the cover of the 2007 Winter issue of InMurrysville Community Magazine. Inside is an article on the artist by Barb Glozik. While I was aware of the article being written, I had no idea my artwork would be on the cover. Many thanks to the editors and publishers of InMurrysville Magazine and to reporter Barb Glozik for this wonderful and unexpected surprise.
